By accessing or using MathWave, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform or services.

1. Services Provided

MathWave offers live online mathematics tutoring sessions. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our tutoring services at any time.

2. Payments & Refunds

  • Payment Processing: All sales, checkout transactions, and subscriptions are processed securely through Gumroad.

  • Pricing: Prices for live tutoring sessions are listed on our site and are subject to change.

  • Refund Policy: Purchases are non-refundable once a live tutoring session has been paid for, except where required by law or specified otherwise at checkout.

3. Cancellations & Scheduling

  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a live session, you must notify us at [email protected] or in any other way we agreed on during our first meeting at least 3 hours in advance, and you can get up to 3 reschedules for each session.

  • No-Shows: If a student fails to attend a scheduled live session without prior notice, the session fee may be forfeited.

4. Right to Reschedule or Cancel Sessions

1.1 Free Sessions & Promotional Bookings
We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any free session, for any reason, without prior notice and without liability.

1.2 Paid Sessions & Subscriptions
We reserve the right to cancel any scheduled paid session or active tutoring subscription at any time and for any reason, without prior notice.

In the event that we cancel a paid session or terminate a subscription prior to the fulfillment of a scheduled session, your sole remedy will be a full or prorated refund of the fees paid for the unfulfilled session(s). Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (e.g., Gumroad) within a reasonable timeframe.

1.3 Discretionary Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, or block future bookings from any user at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of inappropriate conduct, late arrivals, or scheduling conflicts.

5. Code of Conduct

Users and students must maintain a respectful, safe, and professional environment during live sessions. We reserve the right to immediately terminate access to sessions without a refund if a user engages in abusive, inappropriate, or unlawful behavior.

6. Intellectual Property

All learning materials, curriculum content, worksheets, and resources provided by MathWave remain the intellectual property of MathWave and are for personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Limitation of Liability

MathWave provides tutoring on an “as is” basis and does not guarantee specific academic grades, exam scores, or results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MathWave shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Your continued use of MathWave after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
